I've been waiting for months to do this review. Back in November, a friend sent me a link to the Zip and I've been trying to size up the radical design ever since. So when I picked up the Zip earlier this week, I immediately took it out for a test drive. When it is working the Zip is fun. But when it doesn't, things get ugly. And dangerous.

SHOT Show 2013: New from US Firearms: Zip Gun (VIDEO)

The Zip .22LR, a revolutionary new offering from U.S. Firearms, hardly looks like a pistol. It doesn't have a traditional grip. In fact, very little about the Zip is traditional. But it is fun. And it has the potential to be a versatile little gun. Guns.com had a great interview with gun's inventor last week, but the Zip put in a brief appearance at the SHOT show, then disappeared.
