A fine upstanding felon out cruising around in Cally in his ’98 Navigator made the dual mistake of taking his converted flare gun and a load of meth with him.
Arrested by Kings County Sheriff’s Office deputies this week was Valente Garza, 43, of Hanford, on an outstanding warrant. According to reports his Lincoln was pulled over for having an expired tag and the traffic stop yielded a plastic flare gun modified to fire a .410 shotgun shell, “more than 25 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sale, a scale and prescription pills packaged for sale.”
Jailed on a litany of drug and weapons charges, plus the bench warrant out on his chest already, Garza’s bail is set at $130,000.
How’s that California gun control working out?
