by Chris CallahanOperation Cobra Gold 13 is an international meeting and training expedition that takes place in Thailand. Being long standing allies, the Thai invited U.S. Marines to take part in the training, which teaches participants on the essentials of jungle survival (edible plants, clean water, shelter, etc). Drinking cobra blood is seen more as a ritual than an element of survival, cobra blood is believed to be a panacea and aphrodisiac.
