AL man on death row for 30 years to be released thanks to new ballistic testing

For three decades, the man maintained that he was innocent after questionable evidence helped put him behind bars, but additional testing by three separate firearms experts determined that they could not conclusively say the bullets recovered from the crime scene were fired from the revolver found at the man's home.
