Dear Mr. Kringle. It's that time of year again. Time for modest request and justifications of the past year's actions. Well, I've been good, but I'm getting tired of all the noise. This year I'm hoping for a slient night. The .30 caliber kind. And the best way to do it is the Silencerco Specwar.

More than a year ago, I began looking for a silencer. I decided on the Sparrow, Silencerco's dynamite rimfire can. When my FFL called last week and told me that I'd been cleared by the ATF, I was at last able to bring it home. Now if only I could find some .22LR.

Silencerco suppressors work. Their .22 Sparrow can reduce the noise of an automatic so much that all you really here is the clack of the action. But the buzz at the SHOT show is about something bigger. Their 5.56 Saker and the 7.62 Specwar. And the cans are living up to the hype.
