Pat Quinn launched a new ad attacking Republican candidate Bruce Rauner's support of deadly weapons, using keywords such as "assault weapon," "military style," and everybody's favorite "high capacity ammunition clip."

Just as Illinois lawmakers have finally agreed on concealed carry legislation, Attorney General Lisa Madigan filed a request for a 30-day extension before the bill is signed into law. While the extension has been granted, the courts say there will not be another one.
