LAPD officers log in to work from home; ‘ghost cars’ investigation continues

An investigation of the Los Angeles Police Department’s use of so-called “ghost cars” to inflate patrol numbers revealed that some officers could have been logging in to work from home, Inspector General Alex Bustamonte told the Board of Police Commissioners Tuesday morning.
