Family of California dementia patient says he was murdered by police

The family of a 73-year-old dementia patient is speaking out, saying police murdered him when they shot him Monday morning after someone called police and reported a man with a gun.

Robert Redmon said he thought the man was crazy and was out to hurt his grandkids, but when the man jumped on him and began kicking and choking him, Redmon's two grandkids jumped in and gave their grandpa a helping hand.
