North Chesterfield, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- Carl Zeiss Sports Optics, the world’s leading manufacturer in high performance sports optics, is pleased to announce the outstanding achievements of their top sales representatives.
The awards were presented by Barton Dobbs, National Sales Manager – Dealers & Specialty Retail and Kevin Winscher, Sales Director for Carl Zeiss Sports Optics, during the company’s annual sales meeting.
Top honors went to Murski-Breeding’s Clint Carlton for “ZEISS Salesman of the Year Award.”
“Clint had a great year selling ZEISS in 2015. Maybe more than any other ZEISS salesman last year, Clint focused on our company goals and objectives and exceeded them, one by one,” said Barton Dobbs, National Sales Manager – Dealers & Specialty Retail, Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. “He was able to place our exciting new Victory SF binocular on the shelves of many dealers. He achieved revenue growth with nearly all of his accounts, and he also signed up a number of new ZEISS dealers. This is the type of comprehensive effort we love to see and it is why Clint is our ZEISS Salesman of the Year.”
Terry Stevens of Murski Breeding Sales was presented the “ZEISS VICTORY A-Team Award”
“Terry performed very well for us this year. In a year filled with constantly-changing market conditions, Terry rolled up his sleeves and showed creativity and drive to expand dealers’ assortments of our premium VICTORY products,” said Barton Dobbs, National Sales Manager – Dealers & Specialty Retail, Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. “He exhibits a strong work ethic and solid communication skills, but what I appreciate most about him is that he cares so much about his performance. This is why Terry Stevens is our VICTORY A-Team Award winner.”
Kelly Mudge of Murski Breeding Sales was presented the “ZEISS CONQUEST A-Team Award”
“Kelly Mudge is the ZEISS 2015 CONQUEST A-Team Award winner due to the constant effort he puts into upselling our customers to a higher level of Premium products at the national account level,” said Kevin Winscher, Sales Director Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. “Within the national chain accounts, shelf space is limited and Kelly works hard to ensure that a wide range of award winning ZEISS product is available to the premium optics consumer. He exemplified this in 2015 with the work he put into getting not only the premium entry-level TERRA lineup on the shelf, but also the CONQUEST HD5 riflescope line as well. For the extra effort Kelly put into extending our national account assortments, especially the CONQUEST line, Kelly Mudge was our 2015 CONQUEST A-Team Award winner.”
Dave Russell of Murski Breeding Sales was presented the “ZEISS TERRA A-Team Award”
“Dave Russell is one of the hardest working sales reps in the Southeastern territory! In 2015, Dave’s dedication to the ZEISS brand was displayed with the work he put into selling the TERRA line of riflescopes and binoculars,” said Kevin Winscher, Sales Director Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. “In a year where distributor optics sales were especially difficult, Dave was able to grow ZEISS market share in the premium entry-level optics category nearly 200% with his distributor leading the charge! Dave is a past ZEISS A-Team award winner and again earned an award in 2015 for the extra effort he puts into selling the ZEISS TERRA line of product.”
We at ZEISS would like to thank all of our award winning Reps for their dedication and hard work!
