Custom rifle chassis and components manufacturer XLR is bringing more options to rifle fanatics, introducing the all new Envy precision rifle chassis.
With a base weight of 35 ounces, the Envy will initially be available for the Remington 700 short action as well as clones. The one-piece design is constructed utilizing 6061-T6 aluminum for a sleek balance between weight and durability.
Through a multi-point radial cut inlet, the setup is designed to allow the receiver to sit in the chassis stress-free granting better accuracy to shooters. As is standard with all XLR chassis, the Envy is a direct bolt-on application that requires no gunsmithing or special setup by shooters.
The new chassis features an integrated Arca-Swiss style, 1.5-inch dovetail mount on the forend which permits the system to be used alongside a camera tripod.

The integrated, detachable magazine system uses AICS style mags while the magwell’s style boasts a larger, tapered opening for faster mag changes. The angled, serrated face can also function as a barricade stop.
The Envy also offers a 5.5-inch Picatinny rail located on the bottom of the handguard in addition to quick detach sling sockets. M-LOK compatible, shooters are able to add accessories as needed.

The basic, striped down Envy chassis is priced at $740, but upgrades and options are available for consumers looking for a little more oomph.
