A pizza joint employee was reportedly the victim of a strong-arm robbery by a man who threatened him with a gun magazine– that said employee simply slapped away.
As noted by a report from the Myrtle Beach South Carolina Police Department, Mama Mias’ Pizza on Ocean Blvd was the scene of the encounter between the employee, a 19-year-old male, and the alleged robber, an unidentified man between 25-35 years old.
According to the narrative, the employee found the man in a back room of the resort town restaurant just before 10 p.m. on March 21 and asked the man if he was lost. The suspect then whipped out a magazine for a firearm (but no firearm), pointed it at the employee and told him to give him everything he had.
What next?
“The victim slapped the magazine out of the suspect’s hands. The suspect then grabbed two rounds that fell out of the magazine, turned around, and walked out of the door,” reads the report, noting the suspect did not manage to take anything from either the employee or Mama Mias. He left on foot headed towards the beach.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”-6’2″, 170-190 pounds, with a slight beard. He reportedly mumbles when he talks.
