The concept of embracing the negative space can help a shooter’s focus during drills and, as long as you are on target, the only holes you should see are the ones you cut in. If you are out of your negative space, it will be immediately obvious.
Drawbacks are that bad guys don’t typically have a lot of negative space, and if you are wildly off target and throwing lead several feet away from the stand, you could get the mistaken impression that you are kind of a bad ass, when instea you are just kinda ass.
