Corvallis, OR -(Ammoland.com)- Come learn the art of archery and trap shooting at EE Wilson Wildlife Area in Corvallis on Saturday, July 19 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
ODFW is hosting a workshop for women age 18 and older. The event is aimed at beginners who may have no previous experience with shooting a shotgun or a bow, though intermediate shooters are also welcome.
ODFW provides all necessary equipment for workshop participants, including bows, arrows, arm guards, targets, shotguns, ammunitions, clay targets and eye and ear protection. Safety is a top concern and each class begins with a safety talk.
“Our goal is to provide a safe and welcome environment for newcomers to learn archery and trap shooting,” said Mark Newell, ODFW outdoor skills coordinator. “If you’ve never shot a gun or bow before, this is a great way to try these sports.”
The cost of the workshop is $52 and includes lunch. Pre-registration is required; register at ODFW’s License Sales page.
