Police over-reaction to open carry has been a hot subject recently with a few events in Appleton and Neenah.
Neenah police released dash-cam video a week ago of one of their officers repeatedly threatening to shoot an open-carrier in the head.
Considering the dash-cam video, statements by police AND new revelations from an open records request for the “call to police” some interesting information has surfaced.

Next, here is a story from Fox11 that where Neenah Police Captain claims there was “numerous calls to police” and that the encounter was “right in front of a school”.

We NOW have, through open records obtained the audio of a SINGLE NON-EMERGENCY PHONE CALL to the NON-EMERGENCY number of the Neenah Police Department.
In the non-emergency call, the caller even states she’s “sure the guys are just out for a wonderful time”
