Washington, DC –-(Ammoland.com)- Safari Club International (SCI) is proud to recognize the Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) as an affiliate member. Together, SCI and WSF will continue advancing federal policy to promote hunting on public lands and international sheep conservation.

“We at Safari Club are extremely excited to work closely with the Wild Sheep Foundation, especially with our shared interest in wild sheep conservation,” said SCI President Kevin Anderson.

“As organizations committed to international wildlife management policy, WSF and SCI understand the need to improve federal policies that impact hunting and sustainable wildlife conservation. SCI looks forward to increasing the strength of our Political Action Committee through the involvement of affiliate organizations like the Wild Sheep Foundation.”

“The Wild Sheep Foundation is excited to become affiliate members with SCI. As advocates for wildlife conservation, we will impact natural resource legislation that opens more public lands to hunting and improves wild sheep conservation,” said Wild Sheep Foundation President & CEO Gray Thornton.

SCI’s Political Action Committee has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to federal legislators who play a key role in the fight to protect hunting freedoms, promote wildlife conservation practices and scientific game management. Long recognized as among the most influential “sportsman-led” political action committees, SCI-PAC’s support of both Republicans and Democrats has multiplied the advocacy efforts on behalf of hunters everywhere.

Members of both organizations can look forward to a strengthened front in the representation of their interests. This affiliation adds WSF to an ever-growing list of dedicated professional advocates of sportsmen’s rights, wildlife management and conservation.
