Colorado ––(Ammoland.com)- Just last week Governor Christie was a no-show at an important gun-rights rally.
And with anti-gun lawmakers in Trenton ramming more gun control down the throats of law-abiding New Jersey gun owners, I’m afraid Governor Christie might cave in to their anti-gun agenda.
Make no mistake, what they have in store for you will only make the problem worse.
New Jersey already has some of the nation’s most anti-gun laws — second only to California.
And just like other bastions of Second Amendment hatred, these laws have done virtually nothing to keep citizens safe.
Gun owners already must register their weapons with the state, and very few people are “deemed worthy” enough for a concealed carry permit.
Right now, if you’re a law-abiding resident of Newark’s west ward, the only thing gun control has done for you is ensure that you remain a sitting duck. It’s no wonder that Newark has the 4th-highest murder rate of large American cities.
Where’s Governor Chris Christie when New Jersey gun owners need him?
When asked, all Governor Christie had to say was, “You can ask me as many times as you want, and when I believe it’s appropriate for me to give an opinion on that, I’ll give one.”
That’s right.
Governor Christie is not only REFUSING to stand up for the rights of gun owners, he’s REFUSING to tell you where he stands on the legislatures anti-gun agenda.
We’re talking about gun-grabbing bills like:
*** A3748 — Outlaws private sales of firearms;
*** A1329 — Magazine ban for any magazine that can hold more than ten rounds;
*** A3717 — Strips your Second Amendment rights — nationwide — if your name has ever appeared on virtually any certificate, application, record, or report dealing with mental health;
*** A3754 — Gun confiscation for virtually anyone accused of having a mental health issue;
*** A3659 — Ban on 50 caliber firearms;
*** A3510 — Government-mandated firearms “training” just to be able to purchase a firearm;
*** A3687 — Repeals your Second Amendment rights if the government labels you a “terrorist;”
*** A588 — Bans so-called “armor piercing” ammunition;
*** A3646 — Ammunition registration and sales regulation;
*** A1116 — Repeals your Second Amendment rights for six months if you fail to report the loss of theft of a firearm;
*** A1387 — Lets municipalities turn New Jersey into a patchwork of varying local “criminal safezones;”
*** A3645 — Bans all ammunition sales and transfers, including internet sales, except those conducted “face-to-face;”
*** A3750 — Ammunition registration and sales regulation;
*** A3772 — Increases regulations on the unconstitutional “permit-to-purchase, and;”
*** A3796 — 90-day confiscation window for all firearms currently banned in New Jersey.
Despite a massive turnout of law-abiding gun owners and Second Amendment supporters, anti-gun lawmakers balked and passed these bills along.
All two dozen bills could go before the full assembly for a full vote as early as next week — and that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
And Chris Christie still refuses to say what he’ll do.
It’s time to give them an earful!
1.) Contact YOUR State Representative at 609-847-3905 or. (look up who represents you by clicking here).
Urge them to reject all two dozen anti-gun bills in their entirety and let them know you expect them to oppose ALL new gun control throughout this legislative session.
2.) Then contact Governor Chris Christie at 609-292-6000.
Demand he to publicly oppose all new gun control and pledge to veto any anti-gun bills that come to his desk.
Remind the aspiring presidential wanna-be what happened to the last two Republican nominees that double crossed gun owners.
If Governor Christie and state lawmakers don’t hear from you, the only voices they will hear will be those calling for more gun control.
That’s why it’s so crucial you tell your lawmakers to abandon their gun-grabbing agenda and oppose all of these bills.
That’s also why its vital that you demand Governor Christie to quit playing both sides and stand up for gun owners.
Do not wait. Please contact your officials today.

P.S. The anti-gunners in Trenton rammed two dozen bills through committee, and next week they’re prepared to do it on the assembly floor too.
Worse, Governor Christie is AWOL on your gun rights.
Without your action, the only voices Governor Christie lawmakers will hear will be those calling for outrageous new forms of gun control.
Call Governor Christie at 609-292-6000 and tell him to publicly oppose all anti-gun bills and ALL gun control throughout the legislative session.
Then contact YOUR State Representative at 609-847-3905 or by clicking here. Tell them the same thing.
