Magpul may have started as a magazine producer, but the company has grown to become America’s household name for gun furniture. Here’s a look at what its rolling out for 2017.
The new takedown stock is made from a plastic lighter than the company’s usual parts. No weight is quoted. The stock also fits the Tactical Solutions SBX barrel. Expect to see it by early summer. MSRP: $109.95.
AK platform SBRs will get a handling boost from this aluminum-lined handguard. It’s a shorter version of the Zhukov-S. Permanent removal of the handguard retainer is required for installation. It’s ready now at $99.95.
PRS Gen 3 stock
Shooters doing precision work with their AR15/M16 and AR10/SR25 platform rifles will rejoice to find this one. It’s compatible with rifles, mil-spec and A5 carbines. There’s an adjustable cheek rest and a thick rubber buttpad that adjusts both telescopically as well as side-to-side. Attention to detail is obvious in the inclusion of QD sling cups and M-LOK slots for attachment of a rear bipod. Shipping now; $254.95.
The newest take on the MOE stock design has two storage tubes that are waterproof to 10 meters, and an anti-rattle spring. It fits mil-spec tubes only. Ready now at $79.95.
Another Magpul standard, updated with standard and magnum trigger guards and an AICS mag well. The standard model is based on the 30-06; the magnum on 300 Win Mag. Ships now for $279.95.
The popular long-range shooter gets a boost from Magpul with this very adjustable, well-padded buttstock. Adjusts for cant as well as telescopically. Price and availability not available at interview.
