What Does “DEFEATING” Gun Owning America Look Like?

Opinion

They smell blood and are circling their prey. Every lefty politician, every useful idiot David-Hoggish teenage know-it-all and every progressive Kool-Aide drinker voter now actually believes they can “defeat the NRA” aka you.

USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Over the last couple of months, I’ve been tough on the National Rifle Association. Not the organization itself, not the fine folks who dedicate themselves to their careers within the halls of the HQ, certainly not it’s cause or its ability to fight for my rights, but rather, stupid stuff, like poor decision making by a select few, ridiculous expenditures that make them look bad, and boneheaded business arrangements that are now crumbling. I’m allowed to do that because I’m a long-time voting member and my dues pay the bills. I believe that entitles me to speak out. If a few at the top don’t like my opinion, well, that’s OK too – but today I’m coming to their defense.

Why? Because I’m a member. Yeah, I want to see some changes made at the top, but that doesn’t preclude me from coming to the defense of the organization when the lefty freedom haters pile on in their daily attempt to put the NRA out of business. My criticism of the NRA comes as a member, a member who wants to see the organization back in its fighting prime – that prime that strikes fear in the heart of every gun-grabbing politician walking the halls of Congress.

We tend to forget when our enemies attack us relentlessly, it’s because we’re good at what we do, they fear us, and we’re right. Hence, they bring out the big guns in their attempt to castrate us and our message. This tactic is nothing new, and the NRA has borne the brunt of the hate-fueled gun grabber attacks for several decades now. But this time it’s different. They smell blood and are circling like a group of well-tuned Orca’s surrounding their prey. Every lefty politician, every useful idiot David Hoggish teenage know-it-all and every progressive Kool-Aide drinker voter now actually believes they can “defeat the NRA.” Heck, Old Man Joe Biden is now making “defeating the NRA” a mainstay of his presidential campaign. Take this from Fox News:

Former Vice President Joe Biden pledged on Tuesday to “defeat the National Rifle Association” as part of his 2020 campaign promise to fight for school safety. “As President, he will secure passage of gun legislation to make our students safer, and he knows he can do it because he’s defeated the National Rifle Association twice before,” Biden’s plan, released on Tuesday, read. It stated part of the plan to “defeat” the NRA included supporting legislation that banned “assault weapons” and high-capacity magazines.

So there you have it. Joe Biden (and the rest of the Clown Posse) are hell-bent on “defeating the NRA.” But just what does that mean?

As a transitive verb “defeating,” “defeated,” or “defeats” means “to make obsolete, to destroy.” As a noun, the word “defeat” means “frustration by nullification or by prevention of success.” Or it can mean “obsolete–destruction, an overthrow-especially of an army in battle” or “the loss of a contest.” (See Webster’s) The question then becomes, how does Joe Biden aim to “defeat the NRA?” Is he trying simply to defeat it in the battle of ideas, not necessarily seeking its destruction as an entity but instead swaying public opinion to his ideals thereby enabling him to claim “victory” over the NRA? Does it mean he wants to see the NRA obliterated, or as Webster’s defines it, made “obsolete?”

Either way, as far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t matter. In my opinion, every one of the Clowne Posse socialists running for president would all stand up and cheer if the NRA somehow folded shop. Every one of them, including creepy Joe Biden. No doubt in my mind. For this reason, whenever we hear this rhetoric heating up, and the left uses the phrase “defeat the NRA,” we must realize, no matter what our thoughts are currently about perceived fiduciary mismanagement at the top of NRA, the left is seeking OUR destruction, our total annihilation. The end of our right to bear arms as we know it. Their reference to “NRA” is simply a euphemism for YOU, the gun owning America public

I remain hopeful that the National Rifle Association can and will overcome its current, albeit, self-inflicted wounds to once again forcefully, swiftly and powerfully strut the halls of Congress striking fear in the hearts of our Socialist enemies (formerly known as the Democrats) who seek to end our way of life.
