Chad and Eric with the Moss Pawn/IV8888 crew have done reviews with the Henry Mare’s Leg handgun and the full-size Henry carbine, but really hit the sweet spot by going SBR.
The no-tax-stamp-required stock Mare’s Leg pistol is awkward to fire under the best of circumstances while the carbine is a little long for some. But, if you get the stamp for a short barreled rifle build and go after that same .44 mag carbine, it can be just right.
How short is it? Try 12-inches of barrel length but with a functional stock and some aftermarket Skinner Express sights.
“It’s immensely more handy,” says Chad.
