USA – (AmmoLand.com) – It’s the pistol match created for television and specifically our cameras back in the 1990s. The original concept was based on a limited shooting time, or par time where competitors shoot as many steel targets as possible within that given time. Two decades later, the Pistol Pro-Am continues to follow that same concept, and it is one of the most exciting and challenging matches of the year.

Plus, the Civilian Marksmanship Program opens the most advanced shooting sports park in the world. We’re at the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park in Alabama for the grand opening and for the first match: the John Garand D-Day Anniversary Match.

The Spencer Carbine is one of the first and more powerful repeaters used during the Civil War, and it’s now one of History’s Guns. Tune in Wednesdays to the Outdoor Channel!
