Creative Digital in collaboration with Michael’s Machines developed an electro-mechanical firearm trigger that can control the rate of fire for a semi-auto and automatic weapon.
The system is controlled through the use of a solenoid directed by a computer processors, explained Mike Otte, of Michael’s Machines. The computer processor connects to multiple sensors to instruct the solenoid on a rate of fire or to disengage automatic fire if needed.
Otte said designs will be marketed to both the commercial and military/law enforcement markets. It will retail for around $200.
