Lansing, MI -(AmmoLand.com)- A partnership between the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Carbon Media Group now allows the public a rare chance to watch, for free, a pair of nesting bald eagles currently in residence at the Platte River State Fish Hatchery near the Benzie County town of Beulah.
The CarbonTV Eagle Cam live streams 24/7 from carbontv.com/cams/carbontv-
The pair’s nest is 100 feet above the ground, located on the Platte River. An egg was laid over the weekend and the pair will hopefully hatch and rear their eaglets throughout the summer of 2016.
“This pair of eagles have been regular visitors to this nest for the past three years,” said Ed Eisch, DNR fish production manager. “We’re thrilled to partner with Carbon Media Group to give people a window into the world of these majestic creatures in their native habitat.”
Once an endangered species, the bald eagle has been the U.S. national emblem since 1782.
“We’re happy to partner with the Michigan DNR to provide a live, real-time stream of these impressive bald eagles on CarbonTV,” said Daniel Seliger, executive vice president of Content and Marketing at Carbon Media Group. “Users can watch the eagles live at any time on CarbonTV.com from their preferred device and even review the past two hours of footage using our DVR functionality so that not a moment of action is missed.”
Please note, the eagle cam is streamed most easily via Google Chrome. A download speed of at least 5 mpbs is recommended for optimum viewing.
