An Arizona man says his son may have been hurt worse had his thick leather not absorbed some of the abuse from a bullet that hit him while at the Route 91 Harvest country music concert.
Bill Robinson, of Scottsdale, told KNXV ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix that the bullet hit his son in the hip while at the concert with friends, striking the wallet. Picked up by a good samaritan, Robinson’s wounded son made it to the hospital to receive treatment and sent his father a text.
“He’s just shook up, obviously as you would be,” Robinson says of his son who still has the wallet and the money inside, now bloodied.
“Just so much hate, I just can’t understand the people who just hate, hate, hate,” said Robinson of the incident.
