Our 2010 National Art package will be available beginning January 2010. These signed and numbered limited edition images are offered as framed prints exclusively to our chapters. These original, unpublished images highlight North American wildlife, including a mixture of waterfowl, hunting dogs, upland game and deer.

Each year the artist who submits the most popular waterfowl or waterfowl-related image is selected as the International Artist of the Year. Their work must include waterfowl, but it may focus on waterfowl hunting, retrieving dogs or still life subjects. The selected image will become the centerpiece for the art package and receive the appropriate promotion and prominence.

This is the fourth year the public will help determine the International Artist of the Year through an online survey. This voting method not only provides a wider voting base but also gives the artists and the National Art program greater publicity. Voting is taking place online through Feb. 15, 2009. The International Artist of the Year signature prints have raised over $34 million for DU’s conservation mission since 1972, when the program began.
