Covington VA –-(Ammoland.com)- A reminder: Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is going to speak at the monthly VCDL membership meeting in Annandale on Thursday, November 17th!

If you are not attending the VCDL protest at Virginia Tech on November 17th, please come to this membership meeting and bring family and friends. It would be great if we could pack the room for this.

The Attorney General will be speaking about his support for the GMU gun ban, when he originally told VCDL members, as a candidate for Attorney General, that the ban wasn’t valid.

Here is the video of statement above or at this link: https://youtu.be/3bx1ZIusXiU?t=5m17s

I expect that the Attorney General will take some questions from those attending.

VCDL vice-president Jim Snyder will be running the meeting. As with all VCDL membership meetings, it is open to the public.

Fellowship starts at 7:30 PM and the meeting will be called to order at 8 PM and run until 9:30 PM. Afterwards, the group will adjourn to a local restaurant for continued fellowship.

Senator Houck concedes – power has now shifted to the Republican Party in Senate
Senator Houck has conceded his race against Bryce Reeves, turning control of the Senate over to the Republicans. The anti-gun Senate leadership has now had their power stripped from them. And, of course, Senator Marsh will no longer be chairman of the Senate Courts of justice committee! Be still my beating heart!

Gee, I wonder if Mayor Michael Bloomberg is happy with his $150,000 investment in making Virginia less gun-friendly?

The public has spoken, now to see if the Republican leadership was listening.
