New Vanguard Accessories Are Loaded With Features To Improve Hunting Comfort And Accuracy
Las Vegas, NV –-(AmmoLand.com)- VANGUARD, one of the global leaders in high-quality hunting accessories, today introduced new collections of spotting scopes, binoculars, window mounts, gun rests and gun slings – packed with first-of-its-kind features. They were introduced at the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s SHOT Show 2010.
“These additions to our comprehensive collection reflect our continued dedication to development of truly standout hunting products,” said Dana Barnier, VANGUARD USA National Sales Manager. “Our products are great news for hunters and outdoor observers who want accessories loaded with the most advanced technology and features at industry-changing, better value prices.”
SPOTTING SCOPES
With sporting optics being an integral part of the company’s offerings, new spotting scopes enable users to take outdoor observation to a new level with the impressive quality of the big brands at more reasonable prices.
Signature Plus Series spotting scopes feature four waterproof and fogproof models with fully multi-coated lenses, BaK4 prisms and large objective lenses. The innovation lies in its advanced optical system and multiple lens coatings for bright and sharp observation. Its larger-than-standard exit pupil provides greater light gathering viewing and significantly enhances the observation experience. Its ocular lenses, where the exit pupil is located, magnify the image quickly, enabling users to find the target with greater efficiency. Durable magnesium alloy construction means it will have years of great performance while boasting a considerably lower weight. Signature Plus is available in 60 or 80-mm objective lenses with straight or 45-degree angled eyepieces. Other notable features include a large focus wheel and rotating cuff on angled eyepiece models.
“Signature Plus truly strives for perfection with incredible light transmission, a wide field of view, and image brightness and sharpness for excellent viewing even in low light conditions,” said Dana Barnier.
Signature Plus spotting scopes, with a five-year warranty, are accompanied by a complete kit including a protective hard case with reinforced corners and solid frame. The interior has high-density, pre-cut foam and flexible straps. The tripod’s legs extend for an extra wide base for added stability. Its fluid, two-way pan head provides ultra smooth movement and enables easy set up and removal. This kit includes a travel case, soft bag with shoulder strap and lens cleaning kit. Signature Plus is available at street prices of $249–$299 (USD).
Also new for 2010 are waterproof and fogproof High Plains Series spotting scopes available in eight models that provide razor sharp images. They have a five-year warranty and combine the latest optical technology with enhanced user features for quicker adjustment and easier handling.
High Plains 500 Series features fully multi-coated lenses, BaK4 prisms and 50, 60 or 80 mm-diameter objective lenses for superior image quality, clearer viewing and impressive light transmission. High Plains is all about easy handling with a large center focus wheel, long eye relief and a fold-down eyecup for use with or without eyeglasses. Available with a straight or 45-degree angle eyepiece, all models are accompanied by an accessory kit. The tripod has a two-way pan head that provides smooth movement and its quick fasten plate enables easy set up and removal. The hard case has steel-reinforced corners and an interior with high-density, pre-cut interior foam and flexible hook and loop straps for the ultimate spotting scope protection. This kit also includes a soft bag with a shoulder strap and a cleaning kit. They are available in stores for about $129-249 (USD).
