Entitled Sea Wars, the crew of the nuclear powered carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower has produced possibly the best parody of the latest installment in the upcoming space opera.
The Mighty Ike, a Nimitz-class super-carrier commissioned back in 1977, is beginning Tailored Ship’s Training Availability/Final Evaluation Problem (TSTA/FEP) this week after 23 months of maintenance and marks the first time the ship will integrate with Carrier Strike Group 10 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3, paving the way to becoming certified to deploy for the first time since returning from back-to-back deployments in July 2013.
In celebration of the ship getting ready to head back into regular fleet service providing 4.5 acres of sovereign and mobile American territory, Ike’s public affairs detachment cranked the video out with the type of dedication you expect from the U.S. Navy.
