Franklin, TN -(AmmoLand.com)- The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lynn Agee as general counsel for the non-profit conservation organization.
Agee, who enjoys fly fishing the East Fork Stones River for smallmouth bass and pheasant hunting in South Dakota, is a partner with Agee Owens Law in Nashville and has extensive experience in employment and labor law as well as civil and criminal litigation. He formed a relationship with the USA when the organization formed in 2008 and shared an office space with the United Steel Workers in Nashville.
“We are thrilled to have Lynn as our general counsel,” said USA CEO and Executive Director Fred Myers. “He has been a great supporter of our organization from the beginning, and to have him onboard in this capacity gives us great peace of mind. His expert knowledge and experience with unions make him a perfect addition to our team because he understands our issues, our leaders and our members.”
Throughout his career, Agee’s experience in labor law has solidified him with a long list of union clients including the United Steel Workers, Ironworkers International Tennessee Valley, Operating Engineers Local 917, UFCW Locals 1529 and 1000, Fire Fighters Local 3035, Tennessee Fire Fighters International, SEIU Local 205, BCTGM Local 25, Nashville Taxi Drivers Association, Arena Football League Players Union and the Air Engineering Metal Trades Council.
