Fort Smith, AR -(AmmoLand.com)- Umarex USA is unveiling three new airgun innovations that improve the shooter’s experience and performance:

StopShox is a new, patent-pending, innovative device specifically designed to absorb shock and vibration in air rifles. It works in conjunction with a floating action to create a unique combination that systematically reduces the shock created by a break barrel air rifle’s spring or gas piston power system.

The patent-pending Nucleus Rail is an air rifle stock platform engineered to combine the technologies of a Picatinny Rail and an insulating sheath. This platform is explicitly developed to reduce two of the greatest frustrations to scoped air rifle shooting—scope mounting and vibration.

The TNT Piston is a Turbo Nitrogen Technology pellet propulsion system that reduces the noise and vibration inherent in air rifles when used in place of a conventional coiled spring. Over the past year, Umarex has focused heavily on product development and is bringing together the strengths of its engineering resources from around the world to build a robust feature set of technologies that are being incorporated into its modern airguns.

The result of these high tech features enhance the shooter’s experience, which drives success in accuracy on the range and in the field. These technologies are integrated into two new Umarex Air Rifles being introduced at the 2016 Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 19 through 22.

StopShox is a primary feature of the new Umarex Throttle, a powerful pellet rifle that incorporates a recent technology of Umarex, the ReAxis gas piston, and is available in either .177 or .22 caliber. Nucleus Rail and TNT Piston technologies are utilized in the new Umarex SurgeMax air rifle, a break barrel pellet gun with an ultra-modern look and strong performance.

“Umarex is building a strong portfolio of technologies to help shooters accurately connect with their targets both on the range and in the field,” said Richard Turner, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Umarex USA. “We’ve made significant investments to integrate our new and existing technologies into our air rifles to provide more control, less vibration, more power, easier scope mounting, quieter sound levels, and ultimately better accuracy.”
