CONROE, TEXAS-(Ammoland.com)- Texas Armament & Technology (TxAT) and Aguila Ammunition are proud to sponsor, Warrior Evening,a fundraiser for the Texas War Memorial. The event takes place Wednesday, August 31 from 6 p.m to 10 p.m. at Saddle River Range, Conroe’s new state-of-the-art gun range.

The Texas War Memorial was designed to honor Texas service members and their families who have sacrificed their lives since 9/11. It will be placed at the Texas Capitol Complex the weekend of September 11, 2017.

“TxAT and Aguila Ammunition are just two of the many businesses that have stepped up to support this monument. The Texas War Memorial is a truly gracious way to pay tribute and show our constant respect for the brave men and women of Texas who have given the ultimate sacrifice, ” states Chris Sadler, Director of Operations at TxAT/Aguila. “We are truly honored to be supporting this Memorial; although our support does not compare to what our service members and families have endured.”

Select VIP ticket holders will be teamed with true American Warriors (distinguished Army Rangers, Army Green Berets, Navy Seals, Texas Rangers, Former CIA and other military experts) to participate in a fun and spirited shooting competition to benefit the Texas War Memorial. The shooting course will include pistols, long guns, archery and a “zombie simulator” range. TxAT and Aguila Ammunition are providing all 9mm and .223 ammunition for the event.

Contributions to the Texas War Memorial and Living Memorial are greatly appreciated and can be made at www.texaswarmemorial.com. Eighteen Limited Edition Art Bronze replicas of the statue “The Price of Liberty,” were cast for donors who donate $25,000 or more; there are nine replicas remaining. The Texas War Memorial is a §501(c)(3) sanctioned organization and donations qualify as tax deductible.

About Texas War Memorial

An auxiliary goal of the Texas War Memorial, in addition to building “The Price of Liberty” Memorial, is to capture the faces of service members, families and the stories of the Veterans and the families that served in the Global War on Terror and Overseas Contingency Operations. It is our intent to archive the photographs, videos and stories online as a “Living Memorial” of Texans affected by the war after September 11, 2001. It seems only fitting that these stories and photographs be another way to honor and remember our service members and families and to inform future generations about the tremendous service and sacrifice of Texans during the Global War on Terror. The information will build with each new entry and remain available to anyone and anytime on their computers, tablets and even cell phones.
