LUVERNE, AL –-(Ammoland.com)- You can’t shoot a detonated bomb, but you can help the victims survive to see the inside of hospital.
Today’s events in Boston remind us again how fragile and precious life is and how bad things can and do happen to good people.
If you are an armed citizen and responsible enough to effectively employ a firearm to save your own life you are certainly capable of performing stop-gap medical care. In short, if you are ready and willing to make holes, you should be ready and willing to plug them.
Close your eyes and think of the people you see when you rise in the morning, the people you see each day, the faces you see before you go to sleep at night. It is for these people that you should train and prepare to deal with life-threatening trauma. The training and the gear are both available. It’s up to you to decide if they are worth your time and effort. If you are ever witness to a traumatic injury, you will want to do something.
The big question is, will you be able to do something effective or just call 911 and wait helplessly?
