SERIES IIIA Soft Armor
Boynton Beach, Fla. (Ammoland.com) – TPG BLACK, the exclusive line of American-made products offered by Tacprogear (TPG), now includes the Made in America VALIANT Series Level IIIA Soft Armor. This model of armor has been determined to comply with NIJ Standard–0101.06 by the NIJ Compliance Testing Program and is listed on the NIJ Compliant Products List.

With a thickness at just 0.30”, an area density of 1.15 psf and a high flexibility, the VALIANT Series Level IIIA Soft Armor is made from Hyosung ALKEX® unidirectional material in a BLACKSEAL construction with a Brookwood 70D with laminated polyurethane protective cover and sealed with a Sonobond Ultrasonic Bond. It is available in all TPG vest patterns, as well as OEM Armor specifications, in NIJ C-1 through NIJ C-5 template sizes. Product applications include concealable body armor, external carriers, plate carriers and tactical body armor.
