Jimenez was a runner-up on season seven of “Food Network Star” – her specialty is to keep things spicy by returning to her Spanish roots. She currently owns a catering business in Colorado called “Spice it Up!” and will be appearing on The Sporting Chef multiple times offering her quick fixes for a great wild game meal.

“I am proud to be a wife of a bowhunter that has helped me develop a spicy twist on wild game. It’s important to me that people start getting back in the kitchen and I want it to be fun, easy and full of flavor,” said Jimenez.

“Most people tend to have a difficult time when it comes to spices and wild game. Either they don’t use it all or they do the opposite and throw so many spices in the dish you can’t even taste the meat,” said Scott Leysath. “We’ve already filmed several segments with Susie and I know my viewers will find her style of cooking a refreshing addition to the show. And everyone will learn to not be afraid to spice things up, as Susie says.”
