A group of elephants in the Safari Zoo in Ramat Gan, Israel, protected their young from incoming rockets from Gaza Thursday. As the air raid sirens sounded, the elephants huddled together, encircling their children, Buzzfeed reports.
According to FOX News, Gaza militants fired over 140 rockets at major residential areas across southern Israel Thursday, marking the second attack in the last two days.
