VicPol’s behaviour
Australia -(AmmoLand.com)- You will probably be aware the Victoria Police issued transportation guidelines which copped our ire.
Then they changed the guidelines, removing some offending words but adding a new “offence” of speeding while carrying a firearm.
It was pathetic.
Then a senior police officer came out with this outrageous tirade where he said safes being used by some firearm owners could be ‘opened with his teeth’. Click here to see the SSAA’s response to that faux pas!
During the past week, Victoria’s Police Minister, Wade Noonan, and others, attended the Firearms Consultative Committee. It is not appropriate to betray the confidentiality that is required of FCC members but let’s just say it is an extremely rare occurrence for the minister to attend the meeting.
We’ll accept that the police have been admonished, but will still be keeping an eye on their behaviour in the coming months, and take further action if needed.
