Gun photography master Oleg Volk takes a look at Yankee Hill Machine’s near-silent 10/22 whose integral stack makes the rifle’s trigger reset almost as loud as its report.
The YHM8900 series uses a one-piece 18-inch barrel that includes an internal Sound Tech baffle stack that produces a rifle that still holds the same envelope as bull-barrel 10/22, and weighs just 5.8-pounds while being one of the quietest kids on the block.
How quiet? By all means, watch the full video but pay close attention to the last 30 seconds or so, where Oleg has several shooters try their hand at the 8900. You may need to turn up the volume.
