NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- Texas Gov. Rick Perry, an avid sports shooter and outdoorsman, came to the SHOT Show with a small delegation of state officials both to talk to companies already based in the Lone Star State and as part of his ongoing economic development initiative to recruit firearms and component manufacturers to move there.
Dressed for the floor in a tactical look favored by many attendees, it did not take long for him to be recognized.
The Governor seemed more than pleased to stop and take pictures with attendees and to sign autographs.
He also granted interviews to the Fox News Channel on the show floor and radio host Lars Larsen on radio row.
