San Antonio, TX -(Ammoland.com)- The state’s largest organization dedicated to deer and sportsmen’s rights, the Texas Deer Association (TDA) is proud to announce the winners of its 2014-2015 scholarship program.
During its recent annual conference, held in San Antonio, the TDA named the 25 new scholarship recipients selected from across the state.
The 2014 Texas Deer Association Scholarship recipients are Darian Bugai of Seguin, Texas; Amanda Bush of Seguin, Texas; Hunter Dean of Kilgore, Texas; Lauren Gaston of Saint Jo, Texas; Antonio Gonzalez III of San Antonio, Texas; Taylor Habinowski of Brenham, Texas; David Hayward of Columbus, Texas; Jay Kolbe of Kingsville, Texas; Nicholas Kolbe of Pearsall, Texas; Rebecca Loftin of Valley Mills, Texas; Mikaela May of Crowley, Texas; Faith Nutt of Burton, Texas; Mary E. Rumfield of Cypress, Texas; Katelin Scott of Cisco, Texas; Erica Sweatt of San Antonio; Terry Brooke of Seguin, Texas; Jacob Traugott of New Braunfels, Texas; Audrey Vasquez of Bruni, Texas; Matti Warren of New Braunfels, Texas; Sheldon Whitson of Seguin, Texas; Kirsten Wiatrek of Saint Hedwig, Texas; Zachary Williams of San Antonio; William Wingo of Bellville, Texas; Madison Wood of Combine, Texas; and Jacob Woolsey of Roaring Springs, Texas.
“We’re very proud of the accomplishments of these 25 talented young adults, who have distinguished themselves academically and through active participation in their communities and within various organizations,” says TDA Executive Director Karl Kinsel. “As part of our mission, TDA seeks to foster and encourage our youth to participate in wildlife management and private property and sportsmen’s rights, and the TDA Scholarship program will enable these students to continue their educational pursuits.”
