Outdoor outfitter Tenzing introduced a new daypack for grab-and-go hunters that the company says won’t slow shooters down.
The TX 14, launched Thursday, is designed for hunters who prefer smaller, lighter packs while on localized hunts. The new daypack weighs less than 2 pounds yet offers a total 1,600 cubic inches of storage in three compartments, two side pockets and nine organizational areas.
Tenzing equipped the TX 14 with a bur-resistant exterior crafted from ultra soft tricot fabric, reinforced by Hypalon at key stress points. Utilizing HDPE buckles, top quality mesh and nylon and durable zippers, the TX 14 is designed to take a beating in the field without letting hunters down.
The pack features a channeled, air-cooled back pad combined with a well-cushioned, fully adjustable ergonomic shoulder harness for comfort. An adjustable sternum strap and four lateral compression straps optimize fit despite the load.
In addition, the daypack is fully hydration-ready and compatible with Tenzing’s two or three liter hydration bladders.
Like all Tenzing products, the TX 14 is backed by the company’s limited lifetimes guarantee.
The new pack will be available in Realtree Xtra, Kryptek Highlander or Loden Green and retails for just under $100. No word on when the exact launch date will be, but retailers are reporting possible inventory as early as April.
