Team Safariland Takes Gold at Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun
Team Safariland Member Mike Voigt Wins Open Class with Safariland ELS Competition Belt
JACKSONVILLE, Florida –-(AmmoLand.com)- Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, proudly congratulates Team Safariland on its gold medal winning performance at the Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun in Mesa, Arizona. The three-day event was held from March 25-28 and included over 300 shooters. It is the first event of the 3-Gun National Tournament Series.
Team Safariland member Mike Voigt won the Open Class using the new Safariland ELS accessory and holster mounting system. The Model 032 ELS Competition Belt with mounting holes is the foundation for this system, allowing attachment of the ELS System forks and plates. Once attached, accessories can be placed in virtually any location and angle on the belt.
“What a great method for quickly changing out the pouches needed for the demands of multi-gun competition. This system gives you the peace of mind that your rig is set up correctly and easily for each stage,” said Voigt.
Mike Voigt is the 2009 USPSA Multi-Gun National champion, winning it for the 10th time, 5-time International Tactical Rifle Champion, 2009 Bianchi Cup High Master Champion and 4-time IPSC World Champion Team member.
Safariland ELS Belt system products also helped both Maggie Reese and Tasha Hanish win their respective divisions at the Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun event. Reese won top honors in the Open Ladies Division with the Safariland 013 Competition Holster and ELS System, while Hanish won the Tactical Scope Ladies Division using the Safariland Model 568 holster and ELS Competition belt rig.
