Oxford, NC –-(Ammoland.com)- Team RANGELOG’s Ashley Rheuark won the title of High Lady at the Carolina Cup IDPA match, held this past weekend in Oxford, NC. Rheuark beat out last year’s High Lady winner Randi Rogers and placed 10th overall.
“The Carolina Cup was once again a fantastic match this year,” commented Rheuark after the competition.
“Frank Glover and his entire staff did a great job putting it all together. There were 18 stages that tested many different skills of the shooter. I had the opportunity to shoot with a great squad and won High Lady and 2nd overall in the ESP Division. I’d like to thank my sponsors: RANGELOG, Safariland, and Hodgdon Powder.”
Just last year, the teenager claimed the High Junior title at the 2013 IDPA U.S. National Championship, impressing many in the shooting community with her skill.
Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA, put it best when she said “I expect we’ll see a lot more podium appearances from Ashley in the future.”
Team RANGELOG’s Morgan Allen and Deon Martin joined Rheuark to compete at the 15th Annual Carolina Cup, with Rheuark and Allen finishing second and third in the Enhanced Service Pistol division, respectively. Their teammate Martin finished an impressive third in the Custom Defensive Pistol division, and 8th overall for the match.
