Team ITI’s Laura Torres-Reyes Wins High Lady at 2013 Indiana State Championship

SHACKLEFORDS, VA (October 2013) – Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) member Laura Torres-Reyes won High Lady at the 2013 Indiana State Championship, held October 5th, 2013 at the Atlanta Conservation Club in Atlanta, IN.  Torres-Reyes won her title with a final match score of 188.38 (37).  To view the official results, visit here.

“This match was one of the first to be conducted under the new IDPA Rulebook. Congratulations to the Match Directors for stage designs that incorporated scenarios in the true spirit of the sport, and to the staff for providing such an enjoyable experience throughout the 13 courses of fire,” Torres-Reyes said.

Torres-Reyes will next compete at the Lone Star IDPA Championship, to be held October 12th, 2013 at the Cross Timbers Action Shooting Range in Cresson, TX.

About Laura Torres-Reyes

Laura Torres-Reyes first started shooting at the young age of 46 after her retired Marine Corps husband taught her how to safely handle a firearm.  Prior to being selected to join Team ITI she was a member of Team Smith & Wesson for two years. Colonel Torres-Reyes, a Bronze Star and Legion of Merit recipient, is an Active Duty Air Force physician currently stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Doctor Torres-Reyes competes in IDPA as an SSP EX and USPSA Production C class and has earned over forty High Lady and High Military State / Regional Championship titles.
