SHACKLEFORDS, VA (May 2013) – Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) member Laura Torres-Reyes took home the High Lady title at the 2013 IL State IDPA Championship held at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, Illinois June 1st, 2013
“This match was a pleasure to shoot, in large part due the outstanding professionalism and experience of the SO’s, and the truly amazing Sparta World Shooting and Recreational Complex facility,” commented Torres-Reyes.
“It was especially impressive to have such a conglomerate of participants from across the region that included Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. Kudos to Jeff Duckworth and his fantastic staff for conducting such a successful match and congratulations to all the match winners!”

About Laura Torres-Reyes
Laura Torres-Reyes first started shooting at the young age of 46 after her retired Marine Corps husband taught her how to safely handle a firearm. Prior to being selected to join Team ITI she was a member of Team Smith & Wesson for two years. Colonel Torres-Reyes, a Bronze Star and Legion of Merit recipient, is an Active Duty Air Force physician currently stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Doctor Torres-Reyes competes in IDPA as an SSP EX and USPSA Production C class and has earned over forty High Lady and High Military State / Regional Championship titles.
