Grand Island, NE –(Ammoland.com)– Team GLOCK’s Tori Nonaka Takes High Lady honors at the 2014 United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Area 3 Championship held last weekend at the Heartland Public Shooting Park.
Nonaka finished the 14-stage course with 1776 of a possible 1880 points shooting in the Limited Class. Finishing third in her class and first among the female shooters, thenineteen-year-old Virginia native scored another personal best on her way tothe USPSA National Championship, held in St. George, UT in September.
“Each stage of the Area 3 match is forever testing you to solve the most efficient pattern to complete the stage,” reflected Nonaka, “In my competition, most chose speed while I chose accuracy. It was accuracy that won out this time.”
Next up for the team will be the USPSA Area 4 Championships held at the famous Old Fort Gun Club in Ft. Smith, AR on August 28-31, followed by the USPSA Area 7 Championship on September 5 -7 in Dartmouth, MA at The Rod and Rifle Club of New Bedford.
