McLean, VA –-(Ammoland.com)- FNH USA, LLC is pleased to announce the latest match report for members of the company’s practical shooting team, Team FNH USA.
Shooting team members Dave Sevigny and Larry Houck have once again taken first place finishes at two major matches.
Dave Sevigny took first place in Production division at the 9th NRA World Action Pistol Championship, hosted at Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, KY on May 16-17. The match drew nearly 100 competitors from the U.S. and roughly 70 from around the world.
Sevigny competed with his FNS-9 Longslide equipped with basic Sevigny Competition black sights that helped him take home a perfect score on the Falling Plates event followed by near perfect finishes on the Barricade, Moving Target and Practical events that resulted in a total of 1,879 points with 81 X’s.
“This is my sixth Action Pistol major match and the very first I’ve competed in for Team FNH USA with an FNS-9 Longslide,” said Sevigny. “I earned my personal best score with this gun and I’m looking forward to putting it through its paces at the Bianchi Cup.”
Team member Larry Houck also took a first place finish in the Tactical Limited division at the 2014 Western Regional, competing with the FN SCAR 16S, FN SLP Competition and the FNS-9 Longslide. Held May 17 – 18 in Las Vegas, NV, the Western Regional is part of the 3-Gun Nation Regional Series and featured eight staged courses of fire.
“This is my second division win in the 3-Gun Nation Regional Series and I’m thrilled that I’m able to continue that momentum each time with flawless guns and gear,” said Larry Houck. “I know that each time I step up to the line, I can count on my FN firearms to give me that extra edge and push me to the next level.”
