Survey Says – NRA More Popular Than Anti-Gun NEA
FAIRFAX, Va. –-(Ammoland.com)- According to a recent survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports and reported on Newsmax.com, the National Rifle Association is significantly more popular than the nation’s largest teachers union, the National Education Association.
The national survey, conducted on June 30—July 1, 2011, found that 54 percent of voters view NRA favorably, with 29 percent indicating a very favorable opinion.
Conversely, the survey found that only 42 percent of likely voters held at least a somewhat favorable opinion of the NEA, with just 17 percent viewing them as very favorable.
The findings are not surprising, given that numerous polls over the years have shown that the American public generally supports NRA and opposes more gun control.
The anti-gun NEA has already endorsed President Obama’s 2012 re-election.
