FAIRFAX, VA – The NRA Foundation and NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund have joined thousands of other nonprofit organizations in the fundraising campaign #GivingTuesday. Occurring this year on December 1, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
“The NRA Foundation and Civil Rights Defense Fund are excited to participate in #GivingTuesday, an initiative for individuals to show their support for their favorite charities,” said William Dailey, Chairman of the NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund. “We encourage those who want to protect our Right to Bear Arms to donate to the NRA’s charities on Tuesday, December 1. It’s all about freedom!”
