Students Are Out of School Check That Your Guns Are Safely Stored
NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- NSSF’s Bill Brassard offers a reminder to gun owners encouraging all to follow the golden rules of firearm safety and to safely store their firearms when they are not in use.
The Golden Rules of gun safety deal with handling firearms, but safely storing firearms is critically important as well, especially during summertime when children may be at home or at a friend’s home–unsupervised.
In this video, NSSF outlines procedures for safely storing firearms in the home to make sure that children and other unauthorized users cannot access them. NSSF’s Project ChildSafe program works to meet that goal nationwide by providing free firearm safety kits to gun owners through law enforcement partners.
