Optics maker Stryka aims to elevate the hunting experience with the introduction of the new S9 Binocular series. With three hunting binoculars in the series, the S9 offers options to suit hunters’ needs in the field.
Kicking off the lineup is the Stryka S9 8×42, priced at $1,199. The 8×42 is the top choice for all around hunting and viewing with its wide field of view and “outstanding light gathering capability,” according to the company. Coming in at a mid-range price of $1,299, the 10×42 is designed for hunters who need a little more distance. Rounding out the series is the 15×56 model, priced at $1,799, created for open-range hunters who require equipment for long-range viewing.
All S9 series are built on an ergonomic, open bridge design which allows hunters to wrap around the barrels of the binoculars for a more secure grip.
In addition the lineup provides ED objective lenses constructed to handle low light hunting conditions. The optics are waterproof, having been vetted in a fully-sealed housing submersion test for 30 minutes in 1-meter of water.
The internal housing on the series is air-purged and nitrogen filled to prevent fogging while the rubber armor surfaces serve up a no-slip grip.
As with all Stryka products, the S9 series is covered by the “Stryka Pride” warranty which allows users to send in any problematic optics to be fixed or replaced. In addition, users can send back their binoculars for cleaning and a tune-up once a year, all on Stryka’s tab.
