Standard Manufacturing is set to release a new 1911 model featuring a gorgeous case colored frame and ornamental engraving.
Boasting the case coloring on the frame, slide, upswept grip safety and mainspring housing the new gun also showcases a prolific rose and scroll engraved frame, slide, thumb safety and stop.
The 1911 touts 2400 series Gun Kote, which offers a self-lubricating, highly corrosion, abrasion and chemical resistant coating that protects the unique case colored finish. A durable design, the 4140 Carbon steel frame and slide house the 5-inch stainless steel match grade barrel.
The handgun utilizes a classic round top slide with a lowered and flared ejection port as well as rear cocking serrations. Equipped with high profile low-mount sights, the pistol’s trigger is a medium solid match grade model with a 4.5 pound pull. Rosewood double diamond grips finish out the furniture on the model, giving it that classic 1911 appeal.
Standard Manufacturing says the new 1911 will begin shipping in approximately 60 days with a MSRP of $1,895.
